I recently stayed at the Taipei Marriott Hotel for a business trip and was highly impressed. The spacious room with floor-to-ceiling windows provided plenty of light, and the amenities were great. However, the location was slightly outside the city center, which might not suit everyone. Overall, my experience was excellent, thanks largely to the attentive staff and comfortable facilities.

Rooms
9.0
The room was large, comfortable, and equipped with quality amenities. I especially appreciated the clean and organized bathroom with great lighting. However, the swivel chair was too low and non-adjustable, which was a bit inconvenient.
Service
10.0
The service throughout my stay was perfect. The staff was friendly, and the concierge team, particularly Randy and Ray, was exceptionally helpful, providing personalized service and useful recommendations.
Location
8.0
The hotel is within a short taxi ride to the city center, yet slightly removed from the hustle and bustle, making it a peaceful retreat. It's easy to access local transportation, including a nearby train station.
Dining
7.0
Dining options were quite good with offerings ranging from Asian to Western style. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of choices, though I expected a few more restaurant options within the hotel itself.
Facilities
8.0
The hotel featured excellent facilities, including a spacious gym and a lovely rooftop pool. I did find the cover charges at the rooftop bar to be a bit disappointing for hotel guests.

I had a wonderful stay at the Taipei Marriott Hotel! My room was large, clean, and offered a amazing view, making it a cozy retreat. The location was decent, being a bit away from the popular attractions but conveniently close to a metro station. Although I found the dining options somewhat limited, the breakfast was impressive. Overall, I enjoyed my stay immensely! 🌟

The service was exemplary. The staff were friendly and attentive, especially at the concierge desk who remembered my name and plans.

While it's not located in the heart of the city, I found it conveniently close to a metro station, making it easy to explore Taipei.
Dining

The breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide variety of international options. However, I felt the lunch and dinner options were a bit limited.

7.0/10

My stay at the Taipei Marriott Hotel was quite a mix. The concierge team was excellent, making sure all my needs were met. However, the location was a bit out of the way, which didn't make it as convenient as I'd hoped.

Rooms
9.0
The Sky King Room was spacious and very clean. I particularly enjoyed the beautiful city view from the bathroom. However, I found the glass wall separating the bath from the bedroom a bit odd. It didn't fully allow for privacy.
Service
10.0
The concierge team was amazing, providing proactive assistance throughout my stay. They handled everything from taxi arrangements to meeting logistics seamlessly. Special thanks to Ben, Eddie, and Ambrus for their dedication.
Location

While the hotel is situated about a 10-minute stroll from the MRT, I felt it wasn't as central as other options. It’s in a nice area, but getting to key attractions was slightly inconvenient.
Dining
8.0
I enjoyed the variety at the hotel’s restaurants, particularly the breakfast with a large spread of Asian and Western options. Although, my reservation at Inge’s for Christmas Eve was somehow overlooked, which was frustrating.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel has decent facilities including a small pool and gym. However, I noticed that the elevators could get overcrowded, especially during events, which was less than ideal.

7.2/10

I had a great stay at the Taipei Marriott Hotel, with my spacious room offering a fantastic view and quiet ambiance. However, the elevator situation during my time there was chaotic, which somewhat marred my experience. Overall, the hospitality was excellent, but I would suggest improvements in managing large crowds.

Rooms
10.0
My room was huge and very clean—like 1.5 times the size of a king bed! The view from the 11th floor was also great, adding to the spacious feel. I appreciated the ample free drinking water and the modern amenities in the bathroom, even though the humidity made things a bit uncomfortable.
Service
8.0
The service was generally excellent, with staff eager to accommodate requests. They promptly provided my requested early check-in and late check-out. However, there was a noticeable lack of staff presence during busy times, like with the elevators, which led to frustrating wait times at peak hours.
Location
7.0
While the hotel isn’t right in the heart of the city, it’s in a nice area away from the chaos. It's about a 10-minute walk to the nearest MRT and close to a shopping mall, which made it relatively convenient despite the traffic challenges. Still, I felt it could have been a bit more accessible.
Dining
8.0
I enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which had an extensive selection, but there were times when it felt crowded due to events. Luckily, the staff at Inge's made up for the initial hiccup with my dinner reservation on Christmas Eve, so overall, the dining experience was quite good, yet it could have been better managed during peak hours.
Facilities
8.0
The hotel had good facilities, including room service and housekeeping, which met my needs. However, I noticed some chaos with the elevators during my stay due to high occupancy. The fitness center and other amenities seemed well-maintained, enhancing my overall experience.

5.8/10

I recently spent two nights at the Taipei Marriott Hotel, and overall, it was a pretty pleasant stay. The rooms are spacious and well-kept, and I really appreciated the comfortable beds and great amenities. While the location is good for some areas, it’s a bit far from popular tourist spots. My biggest disappointment was the service at Igne's Bar, which left a sour note. But the views from my room and overall cleanliness made up for that.

Rooms
9.0
My room was spacious, spotless, and had a luxurious feel with a grand bed and quality linens. I loved having ample space for my luggage, and the little seating area was perfect for relaxing.
Service
6.0
Service throughout the hotel was decent, but my experience at Igne's Bar was disappointing. I felt the staff could improve their approach to guest interactions, particularly with minimum spend requirements.
Location
7.0
The hotel is located in a quieter area, which was nice, but it’s a bit far from major attractions like Xinyi district. There are some stores and a metro station nearby, though.
Dining
8.0
Breakfast had a solid mix of options, both Western and Chinese, which was great. I also enjoyed dinner at the restaurant with fantastic views of Taipei 101, but I felt like the overall dining options could be expanded.
Facilities
8.0
The gym was well-equipped with a nice view while exercising. The pool looked great too, but I didn't get a chance to use it. They also provided free water, which I appreciated.
